Nonlinear dynamic behaviors of angular contact ball bearing with waviness based on a synthetical multi-degree-of-freedom mathematical modelling

This paper proposes a synthetical multi-degree-of-freedom mathematical modelling for analyzing the dynamic characteristics of angular contact ball bearing with waviness subjected to external load working conditions. The above is established based on nonlinear elastic Hertz theory and inner raceway control by employing improved Newton–Raphson iteration method; validation verified comparing presented results existing literature results. has considered waviness, clearance, centrifugal force, gyroscopic moment, loads, rotating speed comprehensively. Firstly, effects order amplitude time-varying stiffness are investigated systematically. Then, influences speed, axial radial torque analyzed thoroughly. main show that solution have converged, respectively, when increases 25 5; variation tendencies angle, aperiodic; amplitudes increase evidently increased; clearance important influence angle force outer raceway, respectively; consistent basically in corresponding direction; more remarkable compared other factors. investigations helpful designation manufacture high precision bearing.
